CRM Overview

How the built-in CRM works, what it tracks, and how it automatically populates from your interactions.

What is the Built-in CRM?

Your Sarudo AI employee includes a built-in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that tracks all your business relationships and interactions. Unlike standalone CRM software that requires manual data entry, the Sarudo CRM is automatically populated from your everyday activities — emails, calls, meetings, and conversations all feed into the CRM without extra effort. The CRM stores contacts, companies, deals, and activities, giving you a complete view of every business relationship.

Automatic Population

The CRM updates itself automatically as you work. When you send an email to a new contact, the AI creates or updates their CRM record. When you have a phone call, the call summary and action items are logged to the contact. When you discuss a deal in conversation, the deal record is updated. This eliminates the biggest pain point of traditional CRMs — the endless manual data entry that most people never keep up with. Your CRM stays current because your AI employee keeps it current for you.

✅

The CRM updates automatically from emails, calls, and conversations. You never need to manually log an interaction — the AI handles it behind the scenes.

What the CRM Tracks

The CRM tracks five main entity types. Contacts are individual people with their contact information, communication preferences, and interaction history. Companies are organizations linked to their contacts, industry, size, and your business relationship. Deals represent sales opportunities moving through your pipeline. Activities log every interaction — emails sent, calls made, meetings held, and notes added. Follow-ups track pending actions and their due dates to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Getting a CRM overview

Check your CRM status.

You say:
Give me a summary of my CRM.
Sarudo responds:
Here's your CRM summary: 142 contacts across 47 companies. 8 active deals worth $186,000 total in pipeline. 3 deals in proposal stage, 2 in negotiation, 3 in qualified. 12 follow-ups due this week — 4 are overdue. Top companies by deal value: ACME Corp ($45K), TechStart ($35K), BuildRight ($28K). You had 23 activities logged last week. Would you like details on any area?

Accessing CRM Data

You access your CRM entirely through conversation with your AI employee. Ask about any contact, company, deal, or activity and the AI retrieves the information instantly. You can search by name, company, deal stage, date, or any other attribute. The conversational interface means you never need to navigate menus or dashboards — just ask what you want to know and the AI provides it.
