Reading & Searching Inbox
How to check your inbox, search for specific emails, filter by sender or subject, and get summaries.
Checking Your Inbox
Ask your AI employee to check your inbox and it will give you a summary of recent messages. You can ask for unread messages, messages from a specific sender, messages about a particular topic, or messages from a specific time period. The AI reads your emails through IMAP and presents them in a clear, digestible format. It can summarize long email threads, highlight action items, and identify urgent messages that need your attention.

Searching for Emails
You can search your inbox by sender, subject, date range, or content. Just describe what you are looking for in natural language. For example, "find the email from the lawyer about the NDA" or "show me all emails from ACME Corp in the last two weeks." The AI searches across all your email folders including inbox, sent, and archives. It presents matching results with sender, subject, date, and a brief snippet.
Email Summaries
For long email threads or verbose messages, ask your AI employee for a summary. It will extract the key points, action items, and decisions from the thread. This is particularly useful for threads with many participants where important information gets buried. You can ask for summaries of individual emails, entire threads, or all emails from a specific sender or project.
Ask for "action items from my emails this week" to get a consolidated list of everything that needs your attention across all email threads.
Filtering and Prioritizing
Your AI employee can help you prioritize your inbox by categorizing emails by urgency, topic, or sender importance. Ask it to separate client emails from newsletters, flag emails that need immediate responses, or identify emails that contain invoices or contracts. This intelligent filtering saves you from manually sorting through dozens of messages every day.
