Creating Checkout Links

How to generate one-time payment links using Stripe Checkout for quick and easy payment collection.

What Are Checkout Links?

Checkout links are payment URLs that direct your client to a Stripe-hosted payment page. When your client clicks the link, they see a professional checkout page with the payment amount, description, and a secure form to enter their payment details. This is the fastest way to collect one-time payments — no invoicing required. The checkout page is branded with your Stripe account settings and handles all payment security.

Creating a Checkout Link

Tell your AI employee the amount and description, and it will generate a Stripe Checkout link. You can then send this link to your client via email, Telegram, or any other channel. The link is valid until used or until it expires (configurable). When the client completes payment, you receive a notification through Telegram and the payment is recorded in your Stripe dashboard.

Generating a checkout link

Create a payment link.

You say:
Create a checkout link for $500 for the website audit service.
Sarudo responds:
Checkout link created: https://checkout.stripe.com/c/pay/cs_live_abc123... Amount: $500.00. Description: Website Audit Service. The link is ready to share with your client. It will expire in 24 hours if unused. Would you like me to email this link to a specific client?

Customization Options

Checkout links can be customized with various options. Set the currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.), add a detailed description, include metadata for your records, set an expiration time, and optionally collect the client's shipping address or phone number. You can also allow the client to adjust the quantity for product-based payments. All customization is done through conversation — just specify what you need.

ℹ️

Checkout links default to USD currency. If you frequently invoice in other currencies, tell your AI employee your preferred currency during onboarding.

After Payment

When a client completes payment through a checkout link, you receive a Telegram notification with the payment details — amount, client name, and email. The payment is automatically logged in your Stripe dashboard. Your AI employee can also log the payment in your CRM against the client's record and update any related deal stages. If you want to send a receipt or thank-you email, just ask.
