Notion Integration

Querying Notion databases, creating pages, and updating content through your AI employee.

Overview

The Notion integration connects your AI employee to your Notion workspace, enabling it to query databases, create new pages, and update existing content. This is useful for teams that use Notion as their central knowledge hub, project management tool, or content management system. Your AI employee can read and write Notion data through conversation, eliminating the need to switch between Telegram and Notion for routine updates.

ℹ️

What you'll need: your own Notion workspace and an internal integration token. Pages are read from and written into your workspace under your access controls, so permissions, page history, and collaborator visibility all stay in the systems your team already uses.

Connecting Notion

To connect Notion, you create an internal integration in your Notion workspace settings. This generates an API token that grants access to specific pages and databases you choose. During onboarding, your setup team helps configure the integration and ensures your AI employee has access to the relevant Notion resources. You control exactly which pages and databases the integration can access.

ℹ️

Notion integrations only access pages and databases explicitly shared with them. Share only what your AI employee needs — you can always add more later.

Querying Databases

Ask your AI employee to search or filter your Notion databases using natural language. "Show me all open tasks in the project tracker" or "find the meeting notes from last week" queries the appropriate database and returns matching records. The AI understands Notion's property types — text, numbers, dates, selects, and relations — and can filter and sort results accordingly.

Querying a Notion database

Search and filter records.

You say:
Show me all high-priority tasks assigned to me in the Notion project board.
Sarudo responds:
Found 4 high-priority tasks assigned to you in the Project Board: 1) "Finalize Q2 roadmap" — due April 16, in progress. 2) "Review design mockups" — due April 15, not started. 3) "Client presentation deck" — due April 18, in progress. 4) "Budget approval" — due April 20, not started. Would you like me to update the status on any of these?

Creating & Updating Pages

Your AI employee can create new pages in Notion databases and update existing ones. "Add a new task to the project board: Review vendor contracts, due next Friday, high priority" creates a new record with the specified properties. You can also update existing records — "mark the design mockups task as complete" modifies the record in place. This makes Notion management conversational and fast.
